My go to skin tonic tea recipe
My morning routine starts the night before, hear me out. Every evening before going to bed my sister and I make a nourishing skin tonic. Slices of fresh lemon, turmeric and ginger are splashed with freshly boiled water and encapsulated in a thermal flask.
The herbal brew then sits on my window seal, infusing whilst I get my beauty sleep. In the morning the skin tonic is still hot and is a great way to rehydrate your skin and your body after 8 hours of sleep.
Lemon is rich in antioxidants and vitamin c that work to flush out toxins and brighten the skin. Turmeric, contains curcumin a potent natural anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant component that helps to boosts your natural immunity and aids in reducing stress within the body.
